I wanna see you holdin' out your light
I wanna see you find your way
Beyond the sirens in the broken night
Beyond the sickness of our day
And after what we've come to live with
I wanna know if you're okay
We're here but for a moment
And none of us can see
Beyond the horizon
What kind of world this world will be
And none of us can see
Beyond the horizon
What kind of world this world will be
I wanna think it's gonna be alright
It's just a little soon to say.

I'm pretty sure Jackson bought that shirt at Wal-Mart cause I considered buying it for myself. Have you been well? Do you think time will heal us?
So far, so good. Very busy.
Will time heal us? A little soon to say.
I suppose this song is a bit indulgent on my part - I'm a JB fan, and this song resonated it a melancholy/hopeful way. I think Jackson and I would have some differing opinions on what is/are the sickness(es) of our day. And when I am in full rational mode, what will heal us is all of us getting off our a$$es and working.
Was in the Wal-Mart grocery tonight when The Pretender came on the PA. I guess I feel a bit like the protagonist - I'm gonna get up in the morning, and go to work each day, and do it again, amen.
