Over the weekend, astronomers tell us the moon was in perigee and closer than it's been at full moon in nearly twenty years. I had hoped to get a shot of it low on the horizon, but had to settle for a view through the trees in the backyard.

I showed Zachary our moon at Perigee and watched it every chance I got.
Although I saw it at it's max Perigee-ness I swear there were times as a kid it looked waaaay bigger.
Was it just me or were there times it looked more ginormous?
No, that was my mother-in-law.
Chupster - Yeah, I thought it was bright, but not as big as I expected. I wanted to see it like the backdrop to the Mac's Rumours tour (hence the post).
Anon - Touché!
