Ooh! Love it! Why stop there? Why not make some little Bacon Cheese-pigs with pork or sausage? Or maybe Bacon Cheese-turkeys/chickens? Venison with bacon and cheese with toothpicks for antlers!
Maybe a bacon cheese tur-duck-en for our Cajun friends. Thin strips of hare for a bacon cheese jackalope. The mind reels with possibilities.

And even though I disclaimed that no real turtles were harmed in the making of the featured turtleburgers, one could, I suppose, use fresh ground turtle to make a Bacon Cheese Turtle-Turtleburger, if one were so inclined.
