Interesting. In TN there used to be a laundromat near the campus where drinking was encouraged (in fact plans called for a bar) and they had large screen televisions always on to ESPN.
I think there's a washateria in Denton that serves beer. Uses the tagline of "Suds & Suds" or somesuch.
Probably not a bad idea (I don't know how it is as a business plan) - I know doing laundry is about the most boring thing on earth. Anything to pass the time helps.
