If folks aren't suppose to climb all the steps at the Ft. Worth Water Gardens, then why'd they build them?

Well, of course they built them to climb, but in the time passed since they were built, society's become considerably more litigious.

Hence the signs.

Oh, that's funny! Witty Kid.

I remember going down to the Water Gardens as a young twentysomething and climbing down all of those wet steps.....insanity. And I've seen many a person slide out on those things too......

Well, he is a sharp kid, but as a matter of full disclosure, his old man put him up to it, having seen this YouTube clip: http://letmenottothemarriageoftrueminds.blogspot.com/2010/08/sign-sign-everywhere-sign.html

Shortly before the extinction of the dinosaur, when I was young, I remember climbing down to the pit with all the rushing water. I found the sound of the rushing water far more disconcerting than the awkwardly spaced slippery steps.

Remember, portions of the flick, "Logan's Run" was filmed at the Ft. Worth Water Gardens?
