Not your father's (or mother's) Studebaker...

It seems someone purchased the rights to the Studebaker name and is making or made some SUVs in a plant in Cancun, Mexico.

Kinda looks like Johnny Cash smuggled parts of an Excursion, a 'Burban, and a Hummer out of the factory in his lunch box.

Not like the one I saw yesterday...

A Gran Turismo, from South Bend, Indiana (where the skies are so gray?)

I am just a little bit older than that car...

Can you name the truck with four wheel drive,

Smells like a steak, and seats thirty five?
Canyonero! Canyonero!

Well, it goes real slow with the hammer down,
It's the country-fried truck endorsed by a clown,
Canyonero! Canyonero!

Hey, hey!

Twelve yards long, two lanes wide,

Sixty five tons of American pride!
Canyonero! Canyonero!

Top of the line in utility sports,
Unexplained fires are a matter for the courts!
Canyonero! Canyonero!

She blinds everybody with her super high beams,
She's a squirrel-squasher, deer-smackin' drivin' machine,
Canyonero! Canyonero! Canyonero!

Whoa, Canyonero! Whoooooaaaa!

Hmmm? Had never heard that before.

Must be the whole 'not watching The Simpsons' thing, I guess.

I do remember that there was once a send-up of the Ford Excursion.
